Established in February 2017 as an initiative of the Ruth Generation Foundation, Mothers on the Streets (MOTS) is a Christian prayer and action movement dedicated to ending youth violence, gun, and knife crime across London and the wider UK. Our core mandate is to quicken, equip, and empower women to stand together in strong intercession. We regularly take to local residential streets, busy town halls, key community junctions, and major landmarks, bringing direct prayer coverage for the peace, protection, and preservation of our young people.

The movement was founded by Pastor Sarah Bola Oyedele, an MBA graduate, published author, professional charity consultant, and Associate Pastor at Deliverance Outreach Ministry, London. Called to lead and equip women as vessels of honour and restoration, Pastor Bola has been guiding active intercessory prayer networks since 2010. This includes an ongoing prayer chain connecting over 300 women across the region.

Through MOTS, Pastor Bola brings this rich background of spiritual warfare, community leadership, and organisational expertise directly to the frontline. The movement not only addresses street safety through prayer, but also offers a compassionate sanctuary for mothers navigating grief, loss, or the everyday challenges of raising children in high-risk environments. By uniting local women, MOTS builds a resilient shield of intercession and practical care across every neighbourhood.
